20 September, 2006, Tashkent - Clinicians of the Legal Clinic under the University of World Economy and Diplomacy organized training in the area of labor law in GUVD clinic (Clinic of Department of Interior). Main purpose of the training was to promote understanding and enhance knowledge on the rights of people related to the Labour Code.

The event targeted physicians and medical staff of the GUVD Clinic where a lot of discussions took place, including the regulations, benefits and social security of staff, reimbursement for unused vacation, correlation between decrees and legal acts.

The training was organized within the UNDP project “Legal Aid and Legal Literacy for Better Access to Justice”.  The main objectives of the project are to improve access to justice for people who cannot afford or have limited access to legal services, such as women, the poor, the elderly and people with disabilities and to increase quality of legal services through training of law students.
