	UNDP Country Programme for Uzbekistan (2005-2009) The present draft country programme document for Uzbekistan for 2005-2009 is the result of a process that began with the preparation of the Common Country Assessment (CCA) in 2003 prepared jointly by the Government and the Country Office. It forms an integral part of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF). 	Family Assets Mobilization This study is intended to build on and complement a number of important studies and reports, which have been produced over the last year and have attempted to analyze the extent and causes of poverty in Uzbekistan, and put forward policy recommendations aimed at improving living standards in the country. The need to increase employment and income generation opportunities is also the subject for this study.
