Different international and national experts, deputies of Legislative chamber and members of Senate of Oliy Majlis, representative of ministries and departments, social organizations and mass media took part in this conference.
Here are our participants sharing opinions about the conference.
Khayrulla Ruzmetov, Deputy of Legislative chamber of Oliy Majlis. A special status to this conference gave a significant number of organizers: Independent Institute for Monitoring the Formation of Civil Society, National Association of NGOs, Committee on Democratic Institutions, NGOs and Civil Society, UNDP, UNICEF, OSCE and Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Conference, in my point of view, achieved its main goal – organizers have created a forum for the comprehensive discussion of actual problems of legal-organizational mechanisms of improvement in the sphere of social partnership and further effectiveness increase of NGO cooperation with government and state run public authorities.
Also I would like to mention productive discussion of bill “On social partnership” and note that a lot of suggestions and recommendations have been done.
Jerome Delaporte, Institute Universitate de Technologie de Touen, France. In Uzbekistan there have been accumulated a huge experience of social partnership, particularly in the sphere of public health, environment protection, employment creation and education of youth.
Your country has created developed system of legislation, which satisfies international requirements and ensures free and independent activity of non-government organizations. Conditions, necessary for effective cooperation between NGOs, government and state run public authorities have been created.
I am assured that adoption of bill “On Social partnership” will support the development of legal-organizational mechanisms of cooperation between NGOs and government structures in implementing programs on social and economic development, solution of humanitarian problems, protection of rights, freedoms and interests of the different groups of population. Alsoitwill create favourable conditions for further development of social partnership.
Tashhodjaeva Mokhira, Chairperson NGO “Mehr Kozda”, Deputy chairperson of NANNOUz. In the course of discussion conference participants made some proposals on further development and enhancement of NGO activity.
I think that in this stage of social development it is necessary to increase activity and legal literacy of NGO representatives in the field of social partnership. We need to be more actively involved in development, implementation and monitoring of realization of socially important projects, social and economic development of regions and their problem-solving.
