Uzbekistan has been actively undertaking measures to increase the efficiency of its justice proceedings by introducing modern ICT into court activities. The development and introduction of such technology and information systems will support parties in civil litigations, while simplifying civil proceedings. more

2012 has seen many examples of successful cooperation between UNDP and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan, designed to bring national businesses into the global market while attracting foreign investment. United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan announces registration of applicants for Winter School on Human Development 2013. The main goal of the Winter School is to advance the human development concept as a tool of critical analysis of the current political, economic and social processes. The Winter School is organized in two stages – online and interactive modules and conducted in three languages: Uzbek, Russian and English. 07/01/2013 : Promoting environmentally sustainable economic growth
While the Ustyurt plateau represents 16 per cent of Uzbekistan’s territory, containing significant hydrocarbon reserves and rich in biodiversity, however, the region’s ecosystems remain extremely fragile. This means that after oil–and-gas developments and other type of human (anthropogenic) interference in the region, the recovery of the plateau’s damaged ecosystems will take considerable time and effort. more

The Regional Water Partnership Initiative Every Drop Matters - an initiative by UNDP and Coca-Cola invites interested parties to submit the proposals from NGOs, community-based organisations and other cooperatives, and/or academic institutions to implement innovative projects on sustainable water supply, sanitation and hygiene, climate change adaptation, and awareness-raising for responsible water resource management.
