| 04/12/2012 : More one-stop shops on the way | One-Stop Shops (OSS) provide a range of government and commercial services to citizens and organizations in one place, starting from filling-in applications to obtaining certification to proceed with business activities. The important element of this approach is that the OSS provides a single point of contact and minimizes the quantity of documents an applicant needs to provide to government bodies. This process also accelerates the development of infrastructure of effective government inter-agency cooperation. Through the OSS an applicant does not interfere into the process of inter-agency information exchange, and stops acting as a delivery person submitting information from one agency to another. An applicant submits a required set of documents at a single place, in a single form, to a single specialist, and afterwards, the OSS independently undertakes all procedures. more | | | | |
