Administrative services
Operations' Administrative services unit provides administrative services to UNDP Projects and Agencies including preparation of travel authorizations, tickets booking and purchase, logistics arrangements for the visiting missions members, including visas arrangement for travel outside Uzbekistan, hotel accommodation, airport pick up, contacts with MFA regarding meeting appointments if needed.
Travel arrangements
Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) and Terminal expenses.
Travelers authorized to travel at UNDP expense are entitled to DSA at rates established by the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC) for stopovers on official business. DSA rates for each locality are based on the local market situation. DSA is intended to cover charges such as meals, overnight accommodation, gratuities, transport cost from place of lodging to the first place of official business (and vice versa), and other payments made for personal services rendered.
Terminal expenses include all expenditures for transportation between the air terminal or other point of arrival or departure, and the hotel or place of dwelling, including transfer of baggage, and other incidental expenses.

Security Clearance for External and Internal travel.
Security Clearance for Travel
Security clearance is required for travel to certain areas where serious security situations prevail and which are classified as phased areas I to V, depending on the level of unrest. Travel to these areas requires prior clearance from the UN Designated Official (UDO) in the country in which the phased area is located.
Staff members and consultants shall not travel to phased areas without prior clearance from the designated officials. The UDOs for each phased area, and the respective contact information, may also be found in the Field Security Advisory.

A copy of the travelerпїЅs security training certificate must accompany the security clearance request.
The traveler, when arriving in the phased area, must carry a copy of the security clearance issued by the UDO.
